Okay but seriously, About all of my Friends are Christian, Have seen porn and naked woman (Including I, Don't get pissed at me.), Are they/I going to hell for it? Honestly, Mugi...I can understand the frustration, but, if you can't keep from going off like that, just click out of it. It doesn't help. It's not going to sway anyone to your side, least of all Myoti.

In the end, all it does is make everyone angry and give him another thing to point to when and if he decides he'd rather the topic just be dropped because it's become "uncivil" or to justify making comments like those in his first post, which are really just going to incite more frustration.

Myoti should not have made a thread about it in the first place. All he had to do was PM CS_Fox and kindly asked him to put warning thumbnails on the main site. That's ALL. Nobody would have minded the warning thumbnails, and nobody would have become irritated by his constant nagging. But nooooooooo- he had to annoy the FUCK out of half the people on FTT with his mumblings. Craptacular performance, you little bitch...

There was only ONE picture...yet he had the nerve to ask why it had no warning thumbnail? The Kelvin post didn't have a warning on it, when he complained in the thread. I added it, after he posted...as I said in the thread, Kelvin doesn't frequent the site, and I assume he didn't realize he needed the tag.

I assume he thought I added it previous to Myoti's post or some such. But, given that I posted back to Myoti saying that I'd added the tag, I don't know why he would think that. *shrugs*

Meh, I still don't get why you guys have to be so hard on the guy.

Still, I guess since this is coming from a conversative, everything is moot because I'm convservative and rightists suck and the war in Iraq sucks and bush sucks yarrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

I think the general up-surge of anger towards the end of the thread was mainly from three things:

1) To the FTT population as a whole, it really did seem to come off as a "mountain out of a molehill" sort of thing. (And I can see the reasoning behind that; I've seen "harder" stuff at the school art show.)
2) The fact that it stirred up an entire argument also seemed to piss people off.
3) And, let's face it, a lot of FTT members are just very defensive about their boobs.

And, as I said in the thread on FTT, it really didn't help that Myoti started the thread describing the sort of thing he wanted to see thumbnailed as "vile" and "nasty," when such a vast part of the community appreciates it. Whether it's his opinion or not, you just can't hope for a nice discussion when you begin along the lines of, "The stuff you people like to look at is vile and disgusting."

To be honest, though, in the end, I'm just infuriated that a handful of people managed to drive a semi-sensible thread to the point that it needed to be locked down. What's painfully ironic is that the incident came in a thread where the secondary complaint was over civility on the board. Even though I'm miles away from agreeing with the motivations Myoti had in his request and even though I wish that, as a community, we could accept that breasts are breasts and not necessarily anything horrendous, to turn a thread with a simple suggestion into a mild Inquisition as to his values and a glaring fest at him violated all standards of civility.

And ironically, I end up invited to this site. XD

Yeah, that was all a rather interesting fiasco (but dang, you guys had these forums for that long? >_> ). Honestly my whole reasoning for that was that I just didn't want it to turn into yet another porn (or near-porn, if you have to go that way...) site under the cover of "AB/DL/BF." I don't mind the stuff being there if it's got a warning and all. =\
