Apparently Ryan T. Rabbit was more important to the board because He is gay, and I'm not . The board has truly lost it.

That is very true. Yet I find it very stupid to say that just because I don't want a gay pics thread, that I'm an idiot all of a sudden and that I'm close minded. well in all honesty for a foum with such a broad age range we souldn't even have the nudity pics they have either even soft yaoi or yuri wouldn't be too bad but not the hardcore stuff or haveing two same gender character frenching like theres no tomorrow

Well...to some extent, I can see her point about "trolling". I'm not exactly sure what you said, in the end, so there might be something lost in the context that would either exonerate or incriminate you...it's possible she'll go into more detail, as I've asked her about it, too...but, in the end, what were you hoping to do, by going into a thread that was, esssentially, the gay equivalent of a thread that already exists for the straight kids, and saying that "We shouldn't have it"?

Personally, I think that going into a thread and making snide or insulting comments about not wanting to participate in it, in general, is just trying to be an ass for a reaction. I don't see how it's anything but. Going into a thread like that and saying that one not only doesn't personally care for it but thinks that it shouldn't exist is insulting to those of us around who are gay and bi. It does insinuate that you don't think gay and bi members on the boards ought to be able to have the same posting privileges as straight members...in fact, it comes right out and say it. It might not've seemed like that to you, but it was, in the end, saying, "Gays and bisexuals can be gay and bi, but they ought to keep it off the board!"

Moreover, at the very least, I think it approaches trolling for a reaction. That may be your opinion, but why did you feel the need to post it? No one growled over the existence of a "girls only" thread, though a few people grumbled and went off to correct the lack of a "guys" thread. They have every right to do that...and I can't see why you would post something saying they shouldn't be able to, except to bait a reaction.

No I didn't go into the thread and start that, It was in the straight thread, then Ryan kept saying how he was going to start a gay thread, I said. Uhhh, Why?, And then Remmy just basically went after me. Heres the thing as If I had an influence over any creation of such a thread , So for some reason its taken very seriously. I was against making it and I Thought it was stupid to do so, But I knew there was no way that anyway it was going to be closed in a million years, So believe me it was not an effort to close the damn thing, and believe I didn't go into the gay thread and trolled it was basically stating my opinion after Ryan said that stupid line in the straight thread.

Well, if the only thing you said was, "Uhh, why?", I admit, that's a good deal less troll-ish than going into a thread you don't like and poking about how it shouldn't exist there. Though, again, I'm a little uncertain on exactly what you said...since, first, you said you stated you didn't think it ought to exist and now you've said you just said something along the lines of "Uhh, why?"...and context is important.

Still, I don't think it's completely beyond reproach...again, really, why did you need to ask "Uhh, why?" I'm sure you got the picture as to rabbit's intention...and, really, why was there a need to call him on it? It was perfectly within his rights as a poster, and I doubt you would've been appreciative of people complaining about the existence of a female picture thread.

In the end, it all comes down to, "Why did your opinion need stating?" There are moments where, even though you may have the right to an opinion, expressing it may serve no better purpose than to piss people off. And, in cases like that, especially when such controversy would distract from the thread's purpose, I'd pretty much support shooting the posts in question.

...It's also worth noting that anything on the thread by rabbit and Remmy, except her post about getting rid of the drama and his "Pretty guys thread, create!" post were also deleted.

I don't know I'm just fucking depressed that such a fucking huge deal was made out of it .

I'll leave them be, I was just stating my opinion and it still wasn't like I was going to have any influence over it, Like anyone other than the people that I invited here would respect My opinion anyway on that board.

I understand that they go through troubles and all, But why should I feel the wrath for posting that I didn't want to see gay pics?

Simba, it was a brief altercation on one thread that pretty much nobody actually saw. It's not like the cops are patrolling the streets of FTT, looking to gun down a lion on the run. Though, I will add "Fugitive Simba" to "Nazi Simba" on my list of amusing mental images.

Remmy and a handful of of other people are annoyed with you. If there is "heat", it's, at the most, the sort one gets from rubbing one's hands together.
