I think he's just getting frustrated. I mean, there's a bunch of tards running arund sucking up the forum, and people started spamming it with adds a littlw hile ago, it's enough to make anyone a little nuts.

Well, I don't have too much of a problem of that rule, but I highly doubt it will be enforced. If people were supposed to be banned for spamming, FTT would be very stagnant indeed.

True, but spamming will get on peoples nerves very quickly, so I can't blame him. As for the voting on rules here, I like the idea.

The other thing with Carotte is that he appears to treat the artists of FTT like they were the 2nd coming of Christ, and then treat others like they contribute nothing. I mean, I love and respect a lot of artists at FFT..My Best Friend is an artist..Doesn't mean that they are better than anyone...They just know how to draw better..

Meh, I like the idea a great deal, actually. There's been talk for a long time about enforcement of the rules, and, with this, plus the revoking of Randomizer's spamming privileges, the board might be able to actually be converted to a revamped niftiness.

And it's not like it's incredibly harsh. The rules are so common sense and simple that, if you need more than one warning, the internet's probably a bit too complex for you. *chuckles*

hmmm personally I dislike alot of spammers and how alot of them have flame wars and reopen already stitched cuts then spam alot makeing useless posts.

I do see where simba is comeing from though Car does treat alot of the writers and Artists with alot more respect than he does the normal members

I think that spam such as "The Thread of Randomness"..should be allowed..But the ones you are talking about...no..

There are some artists he doesn't like however...Like I don't think he likes kit or Jay Manney that much...Which is stupid, Because they are great artists, great people and great friends..^^..

The FTT forums went into insanity long ago (thus the reasoning for this place, no?) so I don't really see the problem in such rules.

the reason for these rules is simple, because FTT is getting uncontrollable spam!

you have all complained about this, the reason Carotte is enforcing harder rules is because no one seems to be listening, which started all the spam in the first place

and if you want someone to blame for the no spamming randomizer rule, blame me, i was the one that told carotte something had to be done, you have no idea how many complaints ive gotten about the spam

More like he treats SOME FTT artists like that... I've contributed off and on for months, and he never says anything about my stuff, and the one time he did, he shot my work down... hell, I'm still waiting to get the 'Fox Tales Artist' tag on the forum, and that's after asking at least 3 or 4 other members who were to talk to him about it, since heaven forbid I actually ask him myself and get something similar to Simba's "Uncultured Moron" remark thrown at me.. hell, since I'm from Texas, he'd probably call me a stupid redneck or something.... redneck I am, but stupid, definitely not... well, you know what I mean..... yeah, I don't like 'Carrot' either, take THAT ya stuck-up vegetable!

You know, the French actually don't give compliments very often. That's sort of their culture and why they come upon as rude.

When they do give compliments though, they like to drag it out. They generally don't say "Merci" immediately because then it's over. So giving a compliment is a special occassion. Or at least, that's what I learned in French when we did compliments.

"C'est bon! Tu es un bon artiste!"

"Tu trouves?"

"Oui, j'aime votre art!"

"Non, ce n'est pas bon..."

"Si, c'est très bon!"

etc.

But then, I don't know if Mister Carrot gives many compliments or not. So really, I couldn't tell you Razz
